REGISTRATION FORMS:
  1. Please print. Include your complete address: street address, city, state, zip code. Some racers are forgetting to print the name of their city.
  2. Please sign your ACA waiver, whether you're an ACA member or not.
  3. Racers who are not ACA members would pay the $5 event fee to cover race insurance. Add the $25 race fee. Saturday registrations add $10 late fee. Mail early so we receive your registration before Saturday.




INTERESTED IN ENTERING THE 2010 SCHUYLKILL RIVER REGATTA?

The Keystone Canoe Club has sponsored the Schuylkill River Regatta for 40 years, to promote water safety and paddlesports in general. This 13-mile race is held on the Schuylkill River starting at Peter Yarnell Park, which is near Berne Bridge near Hamburg.

WE WILL TAKE-OUT AT JIM DIETRICH PARK ON RIVER LEFT. A map and directions are provided in the packet. CHECK THE MESSAGE BOARD ON OUR WEBSITE in case more info is needed as race day gets closer. The course is Class I water, easy enough for a novice. The race will be challenging enough for an experienced racer, and fun for all. There is calm water, moving water with riffles, and low ledges.......

For ACA members, the pre-registered race fee is $25. For non-ACA members, the pre-registration cost is $30. SATURDAY REGISTRATION (THE DAY OF THE RACE) ADD $10 EXTRA AS A LATE FEE. Please preregister to save yourself money and help us out.  A free t-shirt is included, guaranteed for those who pre-register, or the first 75 racers.......

On May 1st, check-in starts at 8 am, while the race starts at 11 am. ON MAY 1st, COME TO PETER YARNELL PARK AND CHECK-IN FIRST. Leave your boat at the start at Peter Yarnell Park when you check-in. Then you can move your car to the take-out, and take the 9:30 shuttle bus back to the start. *************************************************************************************************************** TO REGISTER FOR THE 2010 KCC REGATTA, follow these simple steps:.....

1. At the top of this page, click on: 2010 REGATTA REGISTRATION PACKET and download the file. It contains three pages, which will print out all together...... 2. Click on either the ACA Adult or Minor Waiver: download, print and sign it.

IF YOU ARE NOT AN ACA MEMBER, your options are described in the six boxes at the top of the ACA Membership page with the Adult Waiver. Most people pick the $5 Event Membership fee for liability insurance for one day.  Check one of the boxes at the top and sign the waiver.

Racers who are ACA MEMBERS MUST SHOW THEIR ACA CARD WITH ITS NUMBER at check-in time on Saturday. ACA changed everyone’s number to nine digits this year.

3. Send the 2010 ENTRY FORM AND ONE OF THE ACA WAIVERS to the KCC address indicated below. Include ONE CHECK for combined KCC and ACA fees, PAYABLE TO THE KEYSTONE CANOE CLUB. You do not have to join KCC to participate in the Regatta.......
