Established in 1974, the Reading, PA-based Keystone Canoe Club (KCC) is an organization of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy and promote canoeing and kayaking ... locally, regionally, and beyond! Many of us also take part in the camping, biking, and hiking the Club offers. And all of us enjoy the fellowship of our members!
To get the most out of our experiences, the KCC emphasizes safety, skills, and respect and protection for the natural spaces we explore.
We offer a full schedule of
paddling outings
(day trips and overnight adventures) on rivers and streams (flatwater to whitewater) and open water (lakes, bays and oceans). And we have members and
trip-leaders
with interests, experiences, and skills in those specific areas of expertise … to show the way!
Our schedule also includes meetings and outdoor-related speakers, training and education for club members and the community, indoor pool sessions for off-season practice, and social events, like picnics and banquets.
As a
member
of the KCC, there are adventures to be shared all year round (see
Schedule
)!
